£37 - not a crap prize

Manure delivery on 7 May 2014, £37 incl. delivery

Two years ago, we got our manure 5 weeks earlier (see post at http://marigoldgarden.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/now-we-are-in-deep.html), and it is going to be much trickier to spread out the lovely stuff, thanks to some plants already being in some of the vegetable beds (I cannot remember whether we got some last year, but most probably yes!). Ah well... On the positive side, we can see what difference manure has made to the rhubarb and also to the asparagus, oh and maybe quite a couple of other plants. So far I have only managed to shift 2 wheelbarrows full of manure, and - as we are expecting a guest who will help us a bit in the garden - I need to leave some easy spaces to fill with manure for this guest... Will report back when we have used all of the manure.
