Most people think that there isn't much to do over the autumn and winter period, and yes, it's easier to think this way - it is often too cold to work in the garden, and rain, snow or wind can really convince you that this is the case. However, we removed one lilac tree, and one confier shrub with one fruit tree and one fruit bush. Hopefully, we will be able to update you as they grow nicely, and in maybe 2 or 3 years we might be blessed with fruit. :-D
Just to share how this has changed the overall look of our garden, and as an update for those who haven't been to our garden in person in the last 4-5 months, a couple of photos:

Will need to drag out a photo of the fruit bush, but also ask the Head Gardener what we actually planted there! Until then, Happy Easter!
