manure. Yes, no bs! 3 cubicmeter of lovely local lawn sausage, from a farm... Sorry, the photo is a bit blurry. Anyway, the head gardener says that we cannot spread it onto the soil as it has been too dry. We would need to mix it in properly, but with dry & clay soil that would be a tough job too. So, we are hoping for rain today. We will keep you posted on this "project". I only managed to move 10 wheelbarrows into the garden yesterday evening - 4 went straight onto the "open compost" (I must add a photo of our various compost containers one day). Anyway, that's probably more than enough as I merely wanted to dump this photo onto the blog. Done!SHG
