The purple sprouting broccoli I planted last year is now doing its thing, and madly sprouting. This is our first harvest :-)
Fighting off the caterpillars and the pigeons was definitely worth it - it's great to have something to harvest in March already! We just need to hurry up and eat it all, as I need to plant this year's shallots in the same place soon....
