From trees to fruit bushes

Yesterday/On Sunday (in old money 18/3/2012) we were also quite busy planting two fruit bushes. And just to give you an impression, would have now dug up not only the turf/lawn, but also several photos for comparison. So the first one is pretty much as this bit of garden looked when we moved in last year:



And then a photo taken yesterday:



I had to chop more branches of bigger trees in order to have enough "materials" for shredding, so that I could produce mulch. Anyway, the actual plants are, of course, tiny - so not yet impressive. We hope to be able to share more photos, later in the year of when these fruit bushes (also grown as espaliers) have grown. :-)
