For months I have been meaning to write this blog post, but it never happened. As some of you will know we only had "one previous, careful owner" - well, at least that what we had thought for a long time. Until we started digging up (or out) the previous owner's compost heaps. This is what we found:
 |
| Milk bottle caps |
Milk bottle lids (the old fashioned aluminum ones and the plasticy ones), also the odd plasticy plant label, cut up plastic cards, a tea spoon (!), aluminum cover for soft cheese pot, sweet wrappers, a plastic washing line peg, an apple label! You get the idea? We knew that our previous owner's husband had some form of alzheimer's, but sadly, a lot non- degradable materials ended up in their compost heaps. It's almost like an archaeological field dig.

| Want to go on a caravaning holiday? |
These might not be the last finds in our garden, but all regular compost heaps from the previous owner are now (finally!) emptied. I won't miss finding this stuff though.
